Hi there and thank you for your comment and question. I prefer the Clarisonic Mia which you can purchase online for around $105-$120. When using this brush I would also recommend using the spin brush head specifically for sensitive skin. I also recommend using it only at night. If you are concerned about the high price tag, the Olay Spin Brush is a great option as well and much cheaper. Although I prefer the way the Clarisonic vibrates and the sturdiness of the machine over the Olay version. In addition to your new spin brush, if you are concerned about acne scarring and want to rejuvenate your skin, I highly recommend using rose hips oil. A few drops patted onto skin at night or in the morning work great.

I am in the process of trying to pick a spinbrush out, and I am very unsure. I do not have big break outs anymore, and i have somewhat soft skin, BUT I do have a little bit of scarring from past acne and I would like to rejuvenate my skin to make it look fresh. I do not want to see anymore deep pores, blackheads, and would like my scars to not be as apparent. The scars aren't too deep, but I am still self conscious. Any recommendations?

Hello and thank you for your comment and readership. I love Eminence products. I have not used their Citrus Exfoliating wash but it is on my "to try" list. Given your choice of face wash I see that you have normal to oily skin. I think you can use the Clarisonic or similar exfoliating brush with most any cleanser. While foaming cleansers often work better with the Clarisonic, I think the benefits are still realized with any cleanser. The Clarisonic or Olay Spin Brush or similar product will remove more makeup and dirt from your pores than manual cleansing (using your hands). My dermatologist (Dr. Robyn Gymrek who has been quoted in the New York Times and Esquire) told me that the Clarisonic and the Olay Spin Brush work the same and its simply a matter of personal preference. But she did suggest adding one to my skin regimen. Personally I recommend using it only at night. I find that when I use it morning and night sometimes my skin is a bit too irritated. Let us know if you give it a try!
