2 Stars. I was pleasantly surprised by this cleanser as I normally don’t have high expectations for products that aren’t coming from skin care companies. However, I think it has a limited audience. The cleanser lathers well, but is soap free. As you would expect from a MAC product it really takes makeup off very well. If you wear alot of makeup, this cleanser really does erase everything. Despite being so strong and doing such a great job even taking off heavy makeup, it’s gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin. However, it is drying. This cleanser is better for those with oily skin or who are not using it on a regular basis. I don’t wear alot of makeup regularly but on nights that I am, I am happy to use this cleanser. It gets everything off, lathers well with my clarisonic and is good for my oily skin. But, I am not sure I like it as part of my daily routine. While it address my oily skin needs it might be a little too drying for me. And for someone like me in my 30s, I would prefer my daily cleanser to have more active ingredients like AHA’s. Otherwise I feel like its a missed opportunity to deliver something to my skin. And for my morning cleanser I prefer something a little more hydrating. However, if you are in your 20s and your skin is oily and you have a heavy hand with the makeup, this product is probably great for you. I will probably finish my bottle of this cleanser but I likely won’t buy it again. On to more skin care products to review. ~Robyn ~Approx cost $20
